Hanging out with daffodils

by imagist on April 28, 2017

Genus Narcissus
Can a flower fall in love with its own reflection?
OR
via Latin from Greek narkissos, perhaps from nark? numbness,
with reference to its narcotic effects.

OR ~ as the Fourth Verse of ~ I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud
BY WILLIAM WORDSWORTH

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
