Frozen. Simply frozen

frozen water here
there, everywhere, four inches
covers my driveway

they predict freezing
rain followed by six to ten
more inches of snow

locate beauty, enjoy

outside, sub zero
within, alone, one plant, blooms
does it know of spring?

for all those i love,
appreciate, or even
like a little bit

retro machinery
beautiful analog forms
waiting for saturn

magical visions
snow flakes linked together as if
hanging torn paper

Wow for yesterday
snow blowing an inch per hour
for sixteen hours

our two cars at 9:30 pm

wonderfully, beautifully weird, this morning

contemplate the edge
where liquid becomes solid
where earth meets the air

Sunday: Tad warmer.
East side brunch. Window shopping.
Strolling. Looking. Snap.
