{"id":9480,"date":"2015-01-30T12:42:25","date_gmt":"2015-01-30T18:42:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.imagist.com\/blog\/?p=9480"},"modified":"2015-01-30T12:42:25","modified_gmt":"2015-01-30T18:42:25","slug":"been-working-with-trees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.imagist.com\/blog\/?p=9480","title":{"rendered":"Been working with trees\u2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Weeks have passed with very little photography.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Been digging around in tool bags quite different than the camera bags.<br \/>\nRather than reaching for the correct focal length lens, choosing ISO and shutter speeds, and apertures\u2026<br \/>\nI&#8217;ve been choosing saw blades, planes, chisels, gouges and trying to find a taper jig for the table saw.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Laid the new hardwood on the step to transition into the kitchen.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imagist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/L1000834.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-9481 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.imagist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/L1000834-e1422639944142.jpg\" alt=\"L1000834\" width=\"800\" height=\"561\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0The fan finally arrived and is a delight to look at as it transitions to the cedar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Quite immersed in the beauty, and smell, of oak and cedar trees\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imagist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/L1000837.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-9482 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.imagist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/L1000837-e1422639997412.jpg\" alt=\"L1000837\" width=\"503\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Did manage to share coffee and a few stories with fellow photographer, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.troyfreund.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Troy Freund<\/a>;<br \/>\nwho offered up a couple &#8220;Magic Arms&#8221; in exchange for a large vanilla bean coffee from Stone Creek.<br \/>\nTroy had rented an Leica M (240) and asked me about my take on Leica focusing vs. auto focus DSLRs.<br \/>\nI handed him my Olympus EVF to clip on his rental M.
