This morning, as I waited for coffee to brew,
\nI read the following heartfelt words,
\nwritten by my daughter, Tanya:<\/p>\n

“Farewell my sweetest, my dearest friend.
\nFarewell, my inspiration, my muse, my confidante….all my love, Alisa.
\nMay your new travels be incredible and limitless.
\nI already miss you so much.”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

beautifully expressing deep love, and heart-rending\u00a0loss<\/p>\n

Alisa, Tanya’s best friend since high school,
\nmom to two young daughters, Sig’s beloved wife, daughter and sister, friend to so many
\n\u2014 danced to life’s rhythms\u00a0with the soul of an artist \u2014<\/p>\n

Damn these cancers \u2014 damn them all.<\/p>\n

I photographed Alisa on 4×5 polaroid print film for her high school year book.<\/p>\n

A half dozen years ago Alisa borrowed my Linhof Tech IV
\nin order to practice her own photography,\u00a0using some of Polaroid”s last run of various print films.<\/p>\n
