\nif i\u00a0choose to add or remove a filter,
\nor to step back a hundred feet or forward a few,
\nor turn this way or that way,
\nas i\u00a0encounter\u00a0life minute to minute?
\nWhat I contribute\u00a0to the encounter
\ndetermines my\u00a0level of creative engagement.<\/p>\n

As I walked the Pewaukee Riverbed the sunlit remains of a grand old tree stopped me;
\nand demanded\u00a0my consideration and respect.
\nI reached beyond my\u00a0“visible” spectrum, into the Infrared light,
\nto express the drama that I felt in that moment.
\nThen\u00a0thought, “I must include the entire tree.”<\/p>\n
